My Writing

Check out some of the things I've been working on!

The Improvisatore

Written as part of Elon University's Musical Theatre Writing course taught by Chris Rayis; The Improvisatore had its first staged reading in December 2025.

The Improvisatore is a musical loosely based on the semi-autobiographical novel of the same name by Hans Christian Andersen. It follows an improvising storyteller during his travels through Italy and his rise to success. The structure of the full musical will consist of four vignettes focusing on each of the main locations during our main character's travels and where the young author found inspiration for some of his most famous stories. This presentation was the first of those four.

Short Films

Recently I have been involved with the writing of two scripts that have been filmed and are now in post-production. Do You Love Me? (Co-written with Parker Felumlee) and Chuck And Charlie Got Into A Scrap (Also Director/Producer).

Do You Love Me_ Wordprint logo.png

Do You Love Me? is an upcoming romantic drama short that explores how complicated a question like this can become in relationships. Here's the logline: When a young woman in a failing relationship is asked if she still loves her boyfriend, her mind spirals into alternate scenarios, each shaped by a different answer to the same impossible question.

Directed by Parker Felumlee, the film is currently in post-production and being produced by CinElon at Elon University.

Chuck and Charlie-2.png

Chuck And Charlie Got Into A Scrap is a comedy short that examines friendship and superiority complexes. The logline is: Chuck and Charlie are brought back together by a third friend, Chip, begging them to reconcile after they had an outlandish fight over the quality of the Gilmore Girls.

This film was my directorial debut and was independently produced, release date TBA.
